The Real Estate team is one of the specialized legal teams within Legal Services. The team works for the council on real estate transactions, both routine, such as commercial leases and tape sales, and complex, including high-value strategic projects. You might be new to the field or more experienced – for less experienced candidates, extensive training and support is available. You could be a lawyer, lawyer or FiLex or you could be a paralegal with the right experience or aptitude for this job. You should be a confident lawyer with a business approach and “can do” to achieve the Board`s goals. You will have the opportunity to advise other lawyers on the property legal team on development and restructuring matters. Kirklees Council Legal Services is one of the largest law firms in the region and is responsible for providing and contracting legal work required by Kirklees` Council and partner organisations. You must also advise and represent adult protection matters and be willing to develop your skills in this area. The focus is on training and personal development, and you should have the ability to develop skills and knowledge in the field of legal issues affecting a large local authority.

The main purpose of this article is to secure child rights disputes, and you should prepare cases for the court, act as a lawyer, and hire a lawyer if necessary. We are looking for a motivated lawyer to join our litigation team – particularly for residential construction. You`ll have your own heavy payload, managing a variety of complex real estate and renovation work related to residential growth and large-scale projects. You get 27.5 days (+8 public holidays) and increase to 32.5 days of vacation after 5 years of service You must be a qualified (or soon qualified) attorney with a current professional certificate, an attorney or a member of the Institute of Legal Executives holding a certificate of civil procedure (or is an executive attorney). Experience in at least one of the following areas of work is necessary and desirable for others Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential, as is the desire to work as part of a support and dedication team. The team is currently at home due to Covid restrictions and the service will continue to rely on flexible working in the future. They provide procurement advice, draft tender documents, contracts and other business documents, and advise on commercial law and projects.

You must be a lawyer or qualified lawyer with an up-to-date certificate of practice or a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives or equivalent.

The Child and Adult Protection Team is one of the specialist teams of the Legal Service and acts on behalf of the Council on a wide range of issues, including public law proceedings relating to children, the Protection Court and, more generally, advice to social work teams responsible for providing services to children or vulnerable adults.
