Posted 23. Oktober 2022 by Logistik-Express in Allgemein

“I joined Applied Materials in 2017 as a new graduate of the Global Information Services team. I really had fun here and learned so much in a very short time. The knowledge transfer in the first two months helped me quickly get acquainted with the company. While everyone works hard, team activities such as Family Day and All Hands meetings have been very rewarding. Applied Materials is very employee-friendly and the company`s open and friendly culture brought out the best in me. Applied Materials works on the latest challenges facing the semiconductor industry. One of the main reasons I chose Applied was its stability as a leader in its industry. At first, I thought I`d learn best practices, then go into a flashy startup. But with all the career development opportunities I`ve been given and encouraged to do for myself – challenging new roles, the support of great mentors, working on projects that span the entire company and impact all employees, too many exciting things are happening and I`m looking forward to an exciting and long career. What I love most about the app is the challenging work and opportunities to collaborate with other teams to create amazing solutions. In my current job, I work with some of the smartest people in the industry. I believe that our diversity of thoughts and ideas helps drive innovation.

Great people working together make great things possible. Applied Materials present in our 50. Year sets new performance records and provides truly innovative solutions to truly difficult technological challenges. We are able to do this because we have winning teams – and that means people from all backgrounds, experiences and ages are working together and bringing different perspectives on the challenges ahead. Applied Materials cares about the communities in which we work. “It`s hard to believe that my journey with Applied Materials began ten years ago. The learning curve has been quite an experience, as there is always new information to learn in a rapidly changing business world. The supplier management team I support has been tasked with meeting demanding requirements, but our inspiring, talented and enthusiastic leadership has helped me and the team perform at our best. It`s exciting to be part of the Indian chapter of the Women`s Professional Development Network Employee Resource Group since its inception. Senior management has always supported our mission and helped motivate and encourage our employees. Because of this positive work environment, we always strive to do our best, we are agile, we are open to challenges, we work intensively and we are motivated.

Applied gave me the opportunity to develop fundamentals as a young professional in a fast-paced and technically challenging environment. Every day I reach the limits of materials technology. In my experience, even first-year students can seize opportunities to make a resounding contribution to the company and the industry as a whole. Since its establishment in 1942, Asian Paints has come a long way to become India`s largest paint company and Asia`s third largest paint company with sales of Rs 127.15 billion. Asian Paints operates in 17 countries and has 23 paint manufacturing plants around the world, serving consumers in more than 65 countries. Asian Paints has always been a leader in the paint industry, leading new concepts in India such as Colour Worlds, Home Solutions, Colour Next and Kids` World. Applied materials Vision, mission, values create an environment where employees can work ethically, do their best, be respected and grow. “I spent more than a decade at Applied Materials and held various positions in software product management, IT service management, and global IT program management. Applied has given me the opportunity to grow as an individual and has opened up a solid career path for me. The flexible working environment has helped me manage a challenging and rewarding career with my personal life and has allowed me to make a significant contribution to the industry and women`s forums nationally and internationally. I am delighted to have laid the groundwork for the Indian chapter of our Women`s Professional Development Network resource group and to have been a leader for five years. I am also very excited to be part of Applied Materials` diversity journey in India and look forward to even bigger times.
