With that in mind, Enterprise has strict policies for renting with a debit card at a location outside the airport, which can vary from location to location. You may need to provide proof of insurance or recent utility bills and personal references. Dollar stands out as another premium rental service that accepts debit card payments. They recently changed their policies so that customers only need their debit card and driver`s license to pay after booking 24 hours in advance. For security reasons, many corporate offices do not accept cash payments. However, some stores may accept cash or money order at the end of the lease for final payment after the vehicle is returned. Prepaid cards or other non-credit cards without one of these logos will not be accepted. ®® Although Hertz accepts Visa or Mastercard debit cards when you return your rental, you must have a credit card when you pick up your car to be able to leave a deposit.
